Flagship Pipestone-system circuit with rolling forest terrain. Check Parks Canada for current access and grooming.
The flagship circuit of the Pipestone system. When it’s open, this is the “quiet forest” alternative to the busy lakeshore trails—gentle grades, long sightlines through the trees, and a true backcountry feel without the avalanche exposure.
Terrain & Flow
- Character: Rolling, mellow climbs and descents with no sustained steep pitches.
- Forest: Wide glades of lodgepole pine and spruce; sheltered on windy days.
- Navigation: Signed junctions; the loop format makes it easy to tailor your distance.
When Open
This trail is often a locals’ favorite for longer, uninterrupted classic skiing. If you’re craving a quiet, steady workout away from the lake crowds, this is the one.
Notes
