Black Diamond Back Bowls
Advanced glade skiing in the Ptarmigan zone of the Back Bowls, named for the ptarmigan; alpine grouse above treeline. Forest cover catches powder on windy days when open bowls are scoured; same wind-loading as Pika Trees. Access via the Ptarmigan Chair; neighbours Ptarmigan Chute 1, Ptarmigan Chute 2, Ptarmigan Chute 3, and Ptarmigan Cat Track.
